This place is SOOOO good, doesn't even matter if you're vegan. Our favorites: Garden chorizo taco (tied for #1) Al pastor taco (tied for #1) Double deluxe taco Brekkie sandwich (this was so delicious, I would have loved it even more if they offered options to add some veggies or avocado) Chorizo queso bean dip Our least favorite was the Bambi taco with a crispy shell, we prefer a soft shell and the flavors weren't as epic as the other choices. Definitely try all the different hot sauces on the table. Our favorite was the Yucatán sunshine habanero pepper sauce. I wish this was a chain and they were in other parts of California!

This place is absolutely FIRE. I've been here one other time like a year ago and remember loving it. Finally returned to be reminded of its glory. The garden chorizo taco was tasty and so was the crispy chicken something i cant remember what it was called. You don't even have to be vegan to eat here if you like vegetables or you just like good food you would enjoy this place. The service could be garbage (it's not) and I would still eat here. I would still eat here if they threw the food at me instead of setting it down nicely. I would eat here even if they asked me not to. This place is delicious... TAP IN

We went recently for a late lunch. We had the Chorizo/ Queso/Bean Dip and the Melty Melt. Both were delicious! Not healthy by any means but good for an occasional treat. The melty melt was really tasty. It seemed very heavy on oil though. The bread was toast perfectly too. The queso was very good and the chips just the right amount of salty. Service was great and the decor is bright and lively. I'll definitely go back and try something on the healthier side.

I thought this place was totally excellent. I've been a vegetarian for a long time. Being a vegan is new to me (only a few months) so I was excited to try out this place. I thought the menu had a very good selection of items both some very basic things, which worked out for the kids... 1 year old slammed an avocado down... 3 year old went for the quesadilla. I ordered 3 items: First one was loaded fries, which I thought everyone might like. I really liked them. Had a creaminess to it and some parts of it gently reminded me of pickles (not sure what gave it that taste or if it was in my head, but I liked it a lot) and was a good complement to the starchiness of the fries... very nice balance of flavours... I got a the fajita salad, which was super delicious. They have a half and full size. I ordered the half size, which was huge! Nice crispy green and very refreshing after we walked about 2 miles to get there. It has a lot of seasoning on it, but also had potato and avocado pieces on it, which again, balanced things out. I would definitely order this one again along with those fries :). I forgot about the tortilla on the bottom, but luckily it wasn't soggy or anything like that. I also got the garden chorizo. This one was smaller, which would be good for someone who's not super hungry (but not outrageously small so no worries). I thought this one was really good I like the spice on it, which is what I expected from chorizo. People working there were super nice and fast. Area was big and kept clean. I felt really good and confident here, and we had a good experience. I couldn't believe I ate so much lol. I'll definitely be going here next time we visit Sacramento. Not sure if I'm allowed to post memes but you can search engine this one "vin diesel for my family tacos" I definitely felt that way when I was done it was so good.

I have never eaten vegan food but this food was so amazingly delicious. Would recommend this place for sure

Came across a video on instagram that was showcasing different vegan places here in Sacramento so I had to try it (no I'm not vegan). Walking into this place it was very welcoming and vibe to sit and chill. I went with a friend and we wanted to try everything on the menu but this is what we ended up having. Being this is our first time, I asked our server what her favorite taco (double deluxe) and it did NOT disappoint. I also ordered Bambi, Lani Mami, Al Pastor, and Brussels. In order from flavor profile (my favorite) this is how I rate the tacos #1 Al Pastor, #2 Double Deluxe, #3 Lani Mami, #4 Bambi. Definitely a place that I would come back to try something else on the menu.

The name of the restaurant alone brings in curiosity! Bambi, the vegan restaurant. I think it's very creative. The ambiance is very laxed and chill. I felt welcomed and comfortable. Not too loud and very ecclesiastical with really bright and abstract colors as well as paintings. Love the music choices! Good little open space. Quieter streets in Midtown, which is nice. Service is top notch, and the food is superior! Very delicious, from the appetizers to main entree to drinks. The sauce over the potatoes--- what a twist and blast of flavors. The O- chata.. made of oatmilk, hit the spot! I dig the creative names on the menu as well. The vegan ahi crisps, perfect portions and flavors again executed properly. Affordable prices and worth every penny! Definitely a must check out for all Non- Bambi carnivores!

The place is nice and I love that they played cartoons when I came in. The server I had was really nice and sweet. The other workers were kind and friendly. They definitely made my first experience here good. The bean dip was very flavorful and delicious. I ate the whole thing. I couldn't tell the difference from non vegan chorizo bean dip. The chips were thin and crispy. Pretty good as well. The Oatmilk horchata was delicious !!! I really enjoyed the drink. It has the perfect balance of not being overly sweet and had an lovely amount of cinnamon. The tacos I ordered were pretty good. But from traditional Mexican tacos they aren't quite similar in taste. I tasted more beans more than anything. The Bambi taco has a good crunch and cold slaw was a nice touch. Definitely had different flavors from my original taco pallet. Overall this place was a nice time and I enjoyed my food and left full. Definitely a recommendation

Fun and delicious! I picked this place to try with my friends today and it didn't disappoint -- thankfully so because I wasn't sure whether they would be into vegan food to begin with. Anyway, we tried their patatas bravas (recommend); their chorizo and bean dip (recommend); and we each tried one of their tacos. I tried the al pastor one, which was made with mushrooms instead of meat and it had chunks of pineapple (it was good, but it's a taco I could go without having again). I think the taco needed more acidity (the tiny lime wedge wasn't sufficient). Perhaps a lime crema would work well with it. My favorite thing about this place was my drink: The Shroomy!! See the photo below for the ingredients. It was a great flavor profile. We had their chocolate donut with chocolate mousse and orange glaze -- that wasn't great. Unless you like dark dark chocolate the it's probably not for you. Lastly, the service was great! Our server was very nice and quick! Appreciated his recommendations and honesty.

My beloved and I recently went to Bambi Vegan Tacos for a meal. First off kudos for being all vegan. We started with the Patatas Bravas aka crispy smashed fingerling potatoes topped with a smoked red piperade sauce. This was good for a starter. We shared three tacos including the Bambi, Garden Chorizo, and the Al Pastor. The tacos were good. We felt they were a bit heavy. Perhaps to improve things would be adding more veggies to the tacos and would be awesome if they could make their own hot sauce. Service was on point. Glad we gave them a try.
